What are the criteria for choosing ganoderma coffee?

The ganoderma fungus and the coffee or cappuccino containing it have become very popular in recent years and this popularity is still growing today.

This should come as no surprise, as more and more people are discovering the health benefits of this medicinal fungus, which has been used for thousands of years.

The regular consumption of ganoderma coffee or cappuccino strengthens the immune system in the long term, helps to maintain the body’s natural balance and can actively contribute to the prevention and treatment of many diseases. The research performed over the past few years is very promising, with numerous studies finding evidence that these products can be effective in the fight against cancer cells, viruses and bacteria, support the cardiovascular system and blood circulation, among other things, and there are also indications of a possible anti-diabetic effect.

It should not come as a surprise to anyone that, if something can be so beneficial and so popular, there will soon be a wide range of products available from manufacturers and distributors, and it is not easy to choose the one that is best for you. There are a number of aspects to consider to ensure that we are not disappointed when we make a purchase and do not feel that the product we have bought does not deliver what we expect for the price. That is why in this article we will focus on the aspects of selection that we would like to help you with.

1. The ratio of ganoderma fungus

Although coffee with ganoderma is also beneficial for our health, the proportion of ganoderma fungus in ground coffee and cappuccino is much more important for the health benefits of such products. Therefore, this is the aspect to pay most attention to. For a better effect, products with more than 2% should be preferred.

2. Type of sweetener

Many people are also interested in the sweeteners contained in ganoderma coffees and cappuccinos. Some people want to do this because of a medical condition (such as diabetes), others to look after their shape. For illustrative purposes, the number of people with diabetes in treatment in Hungary is in the hundreds of thousands, and the number of people who have it but have not yet been diagnosed can be significant.

An excellent substitute for sugar is, for example, stevia, a natural, plant-based sweetener that has been known for centuries and is calorie-free. Thanks to this, the product remains healthy and safe to consume for anyone, be they young, adult, elderly, diabetic or dieting. It is also true that stevia tastes very similar to sugar, so it is an excellent way to recreate the taste of traditional sugar, and it is heat resistant and rich in vitamins and minerals.

3. Type and quality of coffee

It is indeed important that our ganoderma coffee and cappuccino contain a high enough proportion of ganoderma fungus, but the aim of blending them into these drinks was to ensure that this excellent ingredient reached as many people as possible. But this is only possible if the best quality coffee varieties are used in the production process.

Although there are around 70 different types of coffee, only two are widely grown, marketed and consumed. These two varieties are arabica and robusta. There are several differences between the two.

Arabica is the more popular and preferred variety, as its flavour is rich in a variety of aromas, with less bitterness and acidity. Overall, it is therefore a more expensive but better quality, more delicate variety, which does not cause heartburn or acidity. The silky flavour usually results in a soft roast. Robusta, on the other hand, has a much stronger flavour, is less rich in aromas and has a much more bitter, acidic taste. Here we are talking about a cheaper, lower quality type, which can even cause a heartburn. In most cases, a darker roast is used in its preparation.

In many products, it is observed that the two types of coffee are mixed in different proportions, which will damage the coffee drinking experience.

4. Can lactose intolerant people use it?

Lactose intolerance affects quite a few people across Europe, including Hungary. In our country, up to 30-40% of the population may be affected by lactose intolerance. This is an important consideration because instant coffee or cappuccinos often contain animal milk powders, which lactose intolerant people should not consume.

However, this does not mean that they have to give up the pleasure, smoothness and pleasant taste that milk can normally provide when drinking coffee. Milk can be easily replaced by, for example, palm milk powder, which can also be consumed by lactose intolerant people.

5.Price

The price is a somewhat simplistic description of what we would like to draw attention to here. It is important to bear in mind what the product has to offer in relation to its price, whether it offers something extra compared to other types of coffee and how much it costs. It is therefore more appropriate to talk about value for money, which shows whether the price is low, high or just right for what the product is actually worth.

If we explore the rather saturated market, we can see that many preparations cost more than four thousand forints for a 50-gram package, but the content of ganoderma, for example, is still below the highest level. Other brands, for example, do not take into account the lactose intolerant or diabetic population, because they use lower quality ingredients, sometimes even harmful to health, animal milk powders, ordinary sugars. In addition, the best quality Arabica is not used in the coffee, but is mixed with less flavourful Robusta. In this case, even if a product is cheaper, it is not worth the price it is offered for.

Why is it worth buying Ayura ganoderma fungus coffee or cappuccino?

Ayura has always made it a goal to add a high percentage of ganoderma fungus to its products, which are added to the highest quality coffee, ensuring a delicious, pleasant coffee experience for people with diabetes or dieters.

The above is backed up by the fact that Ayura’s coffees and cappuccinos:

  • the highest percentage of ganoderma fungus allowed by law, 3%, compared to a maximum of 2% for other products,
  • The coffee contains only 100% Arabica coffee,
  • instead of animal milk powder, there is palm milk powder, which is also suitable for people with lactose intolerance,
  • stevia substitutes sugar.

All these features make the product very competitive in terms of price/quality ratio, with ingredients of a quality that is unique in Europe.

Having identified the most important criteria for the selection of ganoderma coffees and cappuccinos, Ayura’s coffee specialities meet all these criteria to the maximum and are different from other products in that, in addition to the palm milk powder mentioned above, they contain other healthy ingredients such as ginseng, prickly pear, grape seed, moringa, l-carnitine, coenzyme q10, collagen, calcium or white kidney beans. These ingredients can support the proper functioning of our body in many ways, but we will mention just a few of them here without being exhaustive. They can help to increase performance, reduce fatigue and fat deposition. They can also have a beneficial effect on blood pressure, circulation, blood sugar levels, joint function and digestion.

In conclusion, Ayura’s ganoderma fungus coffees and cappuccinos meet the above criteria while being available to consumers at a very affordable price.
